Brixton Village

Brixton Village is currently my favourite place to eat out in London Town. I've written a piece about this once-derelict 1930s covered arcade turned food-playground for Futurespace magazine, including issues raised by the recent rent hikes. Skip over to Futurespace to have a read.

Are you a fan of Brixton Market? Do you have a favourite place to eat there? Let me know in the comments below.

We have just discovered Brixton Village before we left for India for 4 months so want to try Franco Manca for sure. We had the BEST Eccles square there, but I can't remember the name of the place, dreaming about going back for another one in February!

Bloody love it. It's always had a strong food ethos there hasn't it. Elephant is good. I've always wanted to try the full Colombian brekker at Como y Punto x

Helena -oh yes, would love to get stuck into the Columbian brekko!

Dom - give me a shout next time you're in the area and we can hit up the village.

Keen on Food - mmm, Eccles square. Sounds like it was from Relay tearoom or WAG Bakery?

We regularly pop over to Brixton from Balham. (I usually tweet about Balham goings-on via my @JHowze account.) Good to know of a specific place to check out nearby.
